The last shot of the night from The Louvre. I totally enjoyed walking around here at night more than walking below through the many art galleries during the day. I’m not much of a crowd person and the room with the Mona Lisa did it for me. The crowds in there must have been 30 deep and most of them were trying to get a photo of it. Mobile phones, point and shoots and interchangeable lens cameras were all pointed at it. Of course there were people getting the usual selfies too. What really surprised me was how small the painting was. I for some strange reason thought it would be a lot bigger than the 30 inch x 21 inch portrait. I don’t see what all the fuss is about. I guess if I was in the room by myself and had a better chance of viewing it, I might think otherwise.
